Bosses do vary in their attack patterns and abilities, but the one ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ gimmick they all have in common, which really inflates their difficulty, is the fact that they spawn minions all the time. This also applies for Remnant 2 except there *is* a mod that disables it. There is no way to disable it and I was unable to find any mod that disabled it. Every ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ time you rest at a checkpoint, which is their version of a Dark Souls bonfire, your eyes are being stabbed by this obnoxious flashbang level white background. Really good boss design (the way they look that is not the gameplay - see below) Good variety in terms of weapons, traits, and abilities Replayable to some extent (I didn't feel like playing it any more after the final boss - see the cons) The game suffers from some issues that might be solved in Remnant 2, which may be a better purchase than this, but if you're into the lore then I would also get this game. It's alright if you're playing solo, but a lot more fun if you're multiple people. I only Wish i had found this game sooner. If you all die you start over from scratch. Every 6 minutes the game gets Harder, it will test your endurance on how long you can last. Then you will eventually fight a very challenging boss. Travel to random world, while fighting along the way you will pick up scrap, weapons and armour. Allows you to Fight until you die, You start off with nothing but a pistol, some scrap. The DLC - Swamps of Corsus Is icing on the cake for this game, bringing a New Mode - Survival. But lets face it most the time you will partied up on discord. Downside is there isn't any in game communication other then emotes that can serve as a form of communication in lieu of voice comms. It keeps things interesting, especially when playing with friends.Ĭo-op is Probably best part of this game making it a 5 star. The gun-play is what differentiates Remnant from the Dark souls genre, each world is randomly generated so your not guaranteed the same boss with each play through making it worth playing over and over. Great entry level souls-like genre, 90 hours in and not experience any game breaking bugs, and its not graphically demanding so should run on most computers.
